TOKYO, KOMPAS.com - Iranian Ambassador to Tokyo Seyed Abbas Araqchi said Iran will never negotiate about its nuclear ownership rights in the talks in Istanbul. In an interview with Japanese news agency Kyodo on Friday (21/01/2011), Araqchi said the good intentions of both parties and the desire to work together is key to progress in the talks Istanbul. He added that Iran had started to discuss cooperation under the framework of the Geneva Agreement and with good intentions. "When both parties confident of cooperation based on goodwill, the talks would achieve good results," the ambassador said. Regarding the impact of economic sanctions imposed against Iran, Araqchi said Iran will not fade because of his determination only sanctioned, but rather rely on the capabilities and potentials that the country itself. He said that these sanctions will eliminate some firms from some countries that have imposed sanctions on Iran, so Iran will replace it with companies from other countries. On cooperation between Japanese companies and Iran, Araqchi said that Japanese companies gain a big advantage in Iran and he expressed hope that Japanese firms, with a better understanding of the situation, to seize opportunities, especially in the construction of nuclear power plants and railway express in Iran.
