SANTIAGO: Chilean President Sebastian Pinera Marcelo Bielsa wants to survive as an architect of the Chilean national team. Two months ago, Bielsa threatened to leave if Jorge Segovia was chosen as chairman of the Chilean football association.
Segovia election as chairman of the Chilean football association has been canceled and now Pinera asked Bielsa to complete the unfinished work with the Chilean national team.
Pinera Bielsa admitted hoped would survive to train the Chilean national team in Copa America and World Cup 2014.
Name Bielsa who is a former Argentine national team architect skyrocketed when he successfully led Chile to the last 16 of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. (AP/OL-13)
